Wire wrapping is one of the oldest techniques for making handmade jewelry. This type of metalworking is done with jewelry wire and components; e.g.,beads,cabochons, gemstones. They are then connected to one another using hand and mechanical techniques (e.g., twisted wire) with no soldering or heating of the wire. These handmade works of art have been worn by people all over the world for thousands of years.
Using a variety of wires, which include 14k gold filled (GF), sterling silver (SS) and Copper my designs are fueled by the center piece to be showcased, whether it be a cabochon, gemstone, sea glass or some other piece that is special to the person who will cherish it for many years.
In addition to the unique, handmade, wire wrapped pendants, I also design and create wire wrap bracelets and earrings utilizing gemstones and 14k gold filled and sterling silver beads.
